"branding"

if we stop finding the differences between us interesting opportunities to learn and explore with reasonably alert caution something exotically new to expand and enrich our consciousness and material directions, terrorism -- be it "christian" or "muslim" or "secret temple order of the knotted peas" -- wins in diminishing our lives, in erecting mental/behavioral prisons with delimiting walls of fear and ignorance. in that way we harm ourselves as compliant accomplices of terrorists, we become them. in time their materiality may become superfluous as the bogeyman grand/mom warned us of. dispassionate education is the antidotal key to the blocked door.
